When you are hurt....

We all have experienced what it feels when we are hurt... most of the time we talk to ourselves & ask one question “Why me?”

We derive lot all of answers but could never get around the logic as to why did we get hurt at the first place.
I have been hurt multiple times; unfortunately I don’t have a permanent or temporary cure for it.

But I have discovered two facts about hurt:
     1.     If you have a heart, you will get hurt
     2.     No one intentionally will ever try to hurt you, it’s all accidental

Having said that, today I am hurt...so here I am expressing all that’s going in my heart & mind.
As I was hurt, I screamed out loud on streets caring a damn what will people think or say about me.
Has redefined few thoughts & relationships for me.
Lost control over my delivery of words.
Actions, few that I would never ever imaging doing in my wildest dreams.

So here I am HURT!

So what next?

Here are few options that we all have when we get Hurt:
  •          Forgive but never forget
  •          Let go & Forget
  •          Giveup on expectations
  •          Give-up the thing that hurt
  •          Ignore & take all that happens as a bonus
  •          Shield your heart so that when it again happens, u can take it as normal as you could
  •          Accept everything

Well for now – my safest option is to give-up on things that hurt me. I choose to stay happy & I will embrace all that’s going to give me happiness.

Someone once advised me – If you are hurt, keep calm & never express how you feel.

I don’t know how to follow this advice, all I know is I am human, I am authentic, I am very well aware about my feelings. I will express so far I am doing justice to my feelings...after all its all about living & not just being alive.

Feelings with Failures

This is a space where I want to talk a little bit about failings, because nobody's journey is seamless or smooth – neither is mine. Interesting question that I faced few days back, “What makes what you are today?” & the reply was “My failures!”

We all stumble.
We all have setbacks.
We all do mistakes & wrong choices
If things go wrong, you hit a dead end, as you will, it's just life's way of saying time to change course. So, I always ask every failure, every crisis, and every difficult time -what is this here to teach me? And as soon as you get the lesson, you get to move on. Important is that you really get the lesson, you pass and you don't have to repeat the class.

Difficulties come when you don't pay attention to life's whisper, because life always whispers to you first. And if you ignore the whisper, sooner or later you'll get a scream. Whatever you resist persists. But, if you ask the right question—not why is this happening, but what is this here to teach me? it puts you in the place and space to get the lesson you need.  I have my share of many failed projects, failed matches, failed ideas…but those failures never stop me, they have made me better.

Don't live for yourself alone. This is what I know for sure: In order to be truly happy, you must live along with and you have to stand for something larger than yourself. Because life is a reciprocal exchange. To move forward you have to give back. And to me, that is the greatest lesson of life. To be happy, you have to give something back.

The lesson is - If you're hurting, you need to help somebody ease their hurt. If you're in pain, help erase somebody else's pain. And when you're in a mess, you get yourself out of the mess helping somebody out of theirs. And in this process, you get to become more of a beautiful person that one would like to know more about.
It’s such a lovely sight as my home is glowing in the colorful lights. A small light alone looking so good and playing its small important part in the whole view.
Wishing you’ll Happy Diwali – go out and make that small difference!

When it feels right, it’s Right!

It feels like breathing.

It feels like being alive.

It feels right. And that's where everything follows.

When you're doing the work you're meant to do, it feels right and every day is a bonus.

How do you know when you're doing something right? How do you know that?
It feels so. What I know now is that feelings are really your GPS system for life. When you're supposed to do something or not supposed to do something, your emotional guidance system lets you know.

If it doesn't feel right, don't do it. That's the lesson. And that lesson alone will save you, my friends, a lot of grief. Even doubt means don't. There are many times when you don't know what to do. When you don't know what to do, get still, get very still, until you do know what to do.

If you really want to fly, just harness your power to your passion.
Honor your calling. Everybody has one.
Trust your heart and do what feels right!

Dedicates

Why do we hurt those who love & care us the most?
Why we expect to be understood without expressing ourselves?
Why do we realize their importance once they are no more around?
Why can’t we live with people without whom we can’t live?
Why right looks wrong in their presence and all looks right in their absence?

*This post is dedicated to those lovely people who make my life beautiful and I failed each time to express to them what they mean to me.

A Closed heart

Not an open heart

No lots of love to give,

A closed heart.

May be fear of losing identity,

May be fear of getting hurt,

May be fighting with pains,

May be filled with past fails,

May be fear of losing the most loved,

May be fear of be taken advantage,

Used,

Abused,

Stalked,

No thanks,

A closed heart,

Can’t force it to open.

An open heart seems kind of a stupid thing at times.

Breathing,

Voice,

Not believing its feelings

Speaking through the silence

But a closed heart still beats, breaths & feels.

Finding its way...

No cry’s and no tears

suffering the depths of pain & guilt

as the journey ends and another cannot begin

soul torn apart

voluntarily picking up memories

trying to hold something in palm & every time it’s gone

perhaps it is just not meant to be here.

In darkness the fear & pains remains,

to be healed only by a love that could cross oceans

with no stars to guide,

believing the power of its existence

love will find its way

just to reach the hidden door of the heart

Why do most of the Hum Tum Stories end Unexpressed?

Tum and Hum met for the first time like strangers

Hum said something logical and Tum laughed out loud.

Hum kept wondering, while Tum realized that he has lost his most precious thing

Tum dreamt about Hum while Hum kept dreaming about how true love would be like.

Tum looked forward for one glimpse of Hum, while Hum kept running far from reality and hiding face from the world

Tum waited to hear “Hi” and a smile from Hum, while Hum was scared to look into anyone’s eyes.

Tum will dile Hum number, but would cut it before it rings

Tum bought roses but did not gather guts to offer Hum, so scattered its pedals on the steps Hum used to daily walk up at. Wishing that they get blessed by her feats.

Hum looks at the pedals and feels bad, carefully takes her steps so that none of the pedals get stamped by her.

Tum expresses his feeling in a mail, but instead of clicking on Send he saves it as Drafts

Tum will watch Hum from far and adored and respects here Indianess.

Hum carrying a bindi on her forehead wearing a salwar-kameez passes by Tum with eyes down lost in here own fantasy world.

Tum sitting opposite of the table that of Hum.

Hum smiles at all and every time Tum expected exclusively one for himself.

Tum rushes to the library to grab the same book he saw in Hum hands

Tum stood behind Hum when she’s purchasing pastries and buys the same pastry which was adjacent to the one she picked.

Tum bought a lavish car wishing to take one day Hum for a long ride

As Hum was getting wet in the rain, Tum steps out of his car and walks to share the same lucky rain drops with her.

All so silent but not in real….lots happening.

The world around Hum and Tum could witness all this but were speechless.

The day came where Hum and Tum story came to an end.

Tum organized a Farwell for Hum as he was happy to see Hum heading towards her dreams.

Love is not about expression, its all about feeling.

Its not that Hum didn’t felt Tum feelings, she knew it all….just that she could not overcome here fear of being loved.

She will always respect and treasure the Love and adoration she received.

Thank You!
