Technology for Women Entrepreneurs

I had an awesome time talking at DevFestW last week. Got to meet many amazing, inspiring women entrepreneurs..

My talk was to inspire them to embrace technology & find technology cool and not complicated.

I had the following quick 5 messages for women entrepreneurs about technology:

• Technology is gonna be an important tool which will help you make your start-up disruptive – embrace it
• Keep yourself updated with technology jargons
• To understand technology you need not be from computer science, you just need to be passionate
• Inspire your daughters and tell them that technology is cool, create more female role models as we need more women in technology
• Contribute back to the community all that you learn/receive spread knowledge & love to receive more

- Why we need more women in technology 

- What are the current challenges faced by women  

- Various roles women can play in Technology  

- Getting more women active in tech communities
- Lean forward messages

More women in technology would be good for technology and innovation, for the women who are currently there and for the world.
